I can’t see you, but I know you’re there.
I feel you close and comfort fills the air

My grandma, lost dog, Jesus maybe?

Whoever you are, I thank you greatly
For watching over and caring for me
I can’t see nor hear you in all honesty.
My mind fills with curiosity.

Your presence is light but glows strong
It’s like you’re trying to tell me what you’ve held for so long
I’m listening now, showing my understanding heart
I will hear you, out from the very start.
Give me signs of when there is wrong
To when to know that I belong
I will not ask “how can this be?”
I’ll just say hello to the
presence I cannot see.
