along a line of pines

thistle sky the barely perceptible field of cirrus clouds

pine silhouettes
the stratus sky descends
under the weight of grey

gunmetal clouds roiling the west mountains

stratocumulus sky
I ripple between
light and shadow

blueschist bands of stratus

calendula clouds
a yellow sulphur
begins

a purple gallinule
creeping through the spatterdock
altostratus dusk

cloud vanguard

I slip into darkness again
