a dandelion seed

the dawn chorus deepens

Brandenburg blue
the sky deepening
beyond the mountain

a line of red tail-lights
and a line of mercury vapor
fire opal dusk

solstice day the speed of magnolia petals

how quickly
gone to seed
the thistle and I

Susquehanna River
a great egret plunges her face
into the universe

walking on the lake
a water strider
