Nikola J Milosavljevic – Solar Disciples

Solar Disciples

A couple of nights ago when I took my dog out for a walk
I set my eyes on the sky. It was burning in the star fire, and
I could recognize the constellation patterns for the first time.

It was so easy to connect the dots. There was Aries, Taurus,
Gemini, Ursa Major, Hercules, Leo— cut with the fading
line of the shooting star flying like a quick chalk scratch
across the blackboard surface. It made me think about
cosmic vastness filled with planets, stars, galaxies, and
Nebula hues, haloed by gases as sunsets in the mist.

We use all the formulas extracted to define and describe
its striking beauty. But then it occurred to me, that the great space
of wonders is incapable of transferring something as simple
as sound. I looked down at my dog. She pooped without
a worry in her mind that the silent giant who is consuming the world
would take away the cry of the rich and poor if we pissed off the sun.
