R James Sennett Jr

Rungs
on a ladder
with no end
in sight;
sight being an illusion
and all.
Climbing,
wobbling
who knows where
but climbing we must:
Up?
Also an illusion.
Climbing is an exercise
of diversion
in a deceptive reality.
